Project Description

• Winnebago County requested the development of a concept plan for the 31.01-acre property located on Grandview Road.

• Concept involved parking lot, walking trails, grasslands, wetlands, prairies, mixed forests, environmental features, bench rest locations and a shelter.

M&E Delineation Results

• Provided private property long-term agreement.

• Researched potential land use challenges and liabilities.

• Designed the site to maximize environmental experiences and utilize landscape for ease of access with minimal disturbance.

• Emphasized low-cost development and land use conflict resolution.

• Utilized existing structure for educational purposes and shelter area.
