Project Engineer
We are seeking a self-motivated Project Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary consulting firm, who has a desire to be a part of our growing engineering and land surveying company and has the following skills and qualifications:

Assist in the design of civil site and infrastructure facilities, including but not limited to utilities (sanitary, water, storm), drainage, stormwater management, and erosion control plans

Assist in preparation of construction documents and reports such as stormwater management plans, project specifications, construction details, quantities/estimates, alternatives analyses, agency coordination and permitting applications

Perform construction and erosion control inspections, documentation and fieldwork
-
Complete design work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, surveyors, environmental scientists and technicians
-
Communicate effectively with and report design work to Project Manager

Attend and participate in meetings with project teams, clients and the general public

Work in office and field environments
Qualification and education requirements:
-
Bachelor of Science or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
-
Preferred minimum of 1-3 years of experience in full-time or internship employment under a civil land development firm or municipality

Advanced coursework and/or experience in stormwater modeling (e.g., municipal hydraulics and hydrology courses)

Familiarity with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Technical Standards and Wisconsin Legislature requirements related to construction and post-construction management (e.g., NR 151, NR 1001)

Registered Wisconsin EIT or ability to register as an EIT within 1 year [ability to pass the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and pursue Professional Engineer (PE) license]

Proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, AutoCAD, WinSLAMM and HydroCAD software

Familiarity with HEC-RAS and Bentley StormCAD preferred, but not required

US Citizen or in possession of a valid green card

Valid driver’s license
