Project Description

• City residents were noticing water backup within two swales north of CTH CE. 

• Dredging 0.6 miles of the swales was proposed to remove silt and vegetation impeding flow.

M&E Approach

• Field survey the existing conditions & topography.

• Conduct a wetland delineation of the swale corridors.

• Model total flows entering each waterway.

• Design a cross-section for post-dredging conditions to handle existing and future flows for the 100-year storm.

• Notify adjacent properties of dredging activities.

• Correspond with the WDNR regarding culvert replacement and design.

• Submit an Individual Permit Application for Dredging Activities to WDNR.

• Provide staking and feedback during construction.
