City of Menasha - City Hall Renovation

The City of Menasha hired Martenson and Eisele to completely redesign the interior layout of the Menasha City Hall offices and City Council chambers.  The project also included replacement of all exterior windows and aluminum storefront panels in the building. Robert Hoffmann was the project architect for this project.  With the exception of the existing restrooms and stairs, the project included gutting the entire first, second and most of the third floors of the City Hall.  The work included new finishes, new HVAC and electrical systems, redesigned offices for city officials and a new ADA compliant restroom on each floor.  The construction was carefully phased by floor so that very little disruption of essential services was evident.  The building was never closed entirely to the public. The 5,000 square foot project was completed in January of 2004 at a cost of $348,000.  The budget for the project was  $400,000.  This project also included creating a new women’s locker room for the Menasha Police Department in the lower level of that facility.
